The AMS unequivocally condemns the violent insurrection on January 6, 2021, that attacked the very heart of our democratic institutions and processes. For nearly seven decades, Marshall Scholars have been dedicating themselves to public service and advancing the shared values and principles underpinning our democratic republic. We stand with our community in a stalwart commitment to the peaceful transition of power and the Rule of Law.
