British Government announces 40 winners of 2023 Marshall Scholarships as program prepares to celebrate 70th anniversary

The 40 winners of the 2023 Marshall Scholarships has been unveiled today by the British Government. The recipients, considered among the most accomplished undergraduate university students and recent graduates in the United States, were chosen following an intense selection process. The 2023 class will begin graduate studies at universities across the United Kingdom next year, coinciding with the 70th anniversary of the scholarship.

A new Emerson College poll commissioned by the Association of Marshall Scholars finds that eighty percent of US residents view American and British leadership in NATO as “very” or “somewhat important” to global security. Eighty-seven percent of Democrats and eighty-six percent of Republicans consider the US and British leadership “very” or “somewhat important” on global security.

UK Government announces 46 winners of the 2021 Marshall Scholarships

The 46 recipients of the 2021 Marshall Scholarships have been unveiled today by the British government. The winners, considered to be among the best and brightest university students and recent graduates in the United States, were chosen following a rigorous selection process and will begin graduate studies at many of the UK’s top academic institutions beginning in September 2021.
